Custom Cycles specialises in offering unique, customised solutions to the motorcycle enthusiast. We focus on building long term relationships with our clients, through offering quality products & services backed with the right support and commitment our clients deserve. Custom Cycles is not your average accessories company. Our main offering is the manufacturing and sale of unique One-Off Custom Motorcycles, for the individual who prefers to stand out from the norm. We also only focus on specific accessory products that benefit the rider and the machine. This is why our range is smaller, allowing us to be more specialised and unique in the SA market.
Below is a breakdown of the current accessories on offer, with plans to expand that in the near future with 1 or 2 more unique, custom accessories. We also have, through our suppliers, the ability to bring in a much wider range of accessories, should our clients require so:

Superbike Comfort Kits
Custom Cycles is the sole importer of the Superbike Comfort Kit. As the name suggests, the Comfort Kit modifies the superbike riders, riding position. By modifying the top yoke on the relevant make and model, we can then install standard bars available in 3 options, with risers, thus adjusting the rider's position. This improves posture, eliminates wrist, neck and back pain (on long and short commutes), offers improved visibility, improved protection for the pinion rider & improves counter steering through corners. The Comfort Kit is specifically manufactured to suite the make & model of the superbike. This kit is also popular with clients or stunt riders who want to convert or custom build street fighters. The 3 options are:
- Superbike Comfort Kit - Mini Bar Conversion
This conversion usually does NOT require extended braided hoses or cables but this depends on the make and model. The bars have a width of 717mm, better for commuters who use the bike daily through traffic. They are available in Silver, Black or Magnesium.
- Superbike Comfort Kit - Standard Bar Conversion
This conversion requires the braided hoses & cables to be extended (this is supplied as part of the kit), and uses standard width bars of 800mm. They are also available in Silver, Black & Magnesium.
- Superbike Comfort Kit - Fat Bar Conversion
This conversion again requires the hoses and cables to be extended, and also uses the standard width of 800mm. The only difference is the look and feel the rider is going for, with the section that attaches to the yoke being "fatter" than the rest of the bar, hence Fat Bar conversion. Again you can get these in Silver, Black or Magnesium.
NOTE:
- Some of the makes and models require either a fairing modification or a screen re-profile, or both to be done. The client is advised on a case by case basis.
- All the top yokes can take a variant of risers from 20mm, 30mm, 40mm to 50mm risers depending on the height the rider wants to adjust by.
SABAT Motorcycle Batteries
Custom Cycles has the Agency for the SABAT range of Motorcycle & Commercial batteries. SABAT is a division of the Powertech Group of Companies, and the largest importer and manufacturer of batteries in SA. The motorcycle batteries are manufactured by the reputable organization, GS in Japan. The past few years have seen any and all types of cheap unreliable batteries coming into the SA market, so an attempt to stabilize the environment, Custom Cycles focuses on providing a local brand (SABAT), to the riders and the support and guarantees associated with the SABAT range.
